Flatten (planarize) a basic curve

- Let's take a look at how to planarize or flatten a basic curve. Now this is a very important function because as we start to create surfaces, it's a really good idea to try to have all your geometry whether it's a profile or whether it's a rail, try to keep them in a planar mode if possible. And when you do that, your resulting services will have a really nice, even distribution of control points. Now in some cases, it's not always advisable to do that. And in some cases, it's not possible. But when you can, you can use this function. So what we have here, we have three basic curves, and they're exactly the same curves. I'm going to show you the three options we can use. Now because it's a modification of an existing curve, it's a curve-edit command. And the command is Curve, Planarize. And we're gonna start off at the very top with Best, and we're gonna lock the ends and keep the original. So let's say Go to that, and let's just go ahead and pick this very first one and press the…
