- In this video, we're gonna take a look at another very powerful function in surfacing called Freeform Blend. This is one of my particular favorite functions. It is a way of creating a transitional surface very similar to a fillet, but it allows a little bit more flexibility, in my opinion. Let's take a look at some of these scenarios first. I want to shade up this particular model. This is an eyebrow area of a front fender. You can see that we've got some short of shape to this. It's actually curving in, like so. The slab that we have here also is curving in at the top view, very slightly. These surfaces here are all changing very, very gradually as they move from the rear to the front. This is a somewhat complex surface for a fillet, or even for a blend. We can see that, if we go back to wireframe, if we created just a standard fillet in there, just a standard ball fillet ... Let's query edit this and let's see what options we used. We used 16 millimeters with a form factor of .5…
