How to align to surface
- [Instructor] As well as aligning to curves, we can also align to surfaces with SubD elements. So let's take a look at this model. I'm just going to quickly go up to Windows Display, Hardware Shade and you can see that we have a SubDiv surface on this side and on this side here, we just have a regular Bezier NURBS surface. So I'll go into the top view and I switch on my grid. You can see that first of all, this orange surface here is aligned exactly to the center line and it's just a rolled surface going in the vertical direction. And the SubDiv surface obviously is not matched along the center line. As you can see, these control points are kind of wavy. So let's go back into more of a perspective view and I'm going to switch off the grid and let's have a look at how we can align the SubDiv surface to the orange surface here.
