How to planarize SubD vertices

- [Instructor] This next command is one of the most important commands that you'll start using in your subdivision modeling workflow and it's the planarized commands. So let's open up Planarize and in this case, I'm just going to hide my mesh, and we're going to go into our top view and you can see from this particular subdivision surface that these middle row of control points are quite erratic. So we want to clean those up, planarize them. So again, let's just open up our options and at the very top, you can see we've got Z, Y and X so we can use coordinate system or our global coordinate system to snap the control points. You can use a best fit plane and we can use view based. So in this case here, if I just zoom out slightly, you'll notice from my triad here it only makes sense to try to snap this in a Y vector, it makes no sense to snap it in Z or X.
