Increasing the complexity of surfaces

- In this video, we're gonna take a look at how to increase the complexity of the surface in a controlled manner. Now, we did this with curves and it's a very similar principle to working with surfaces. And what we're gonna do is we're gonna create this shape here. So, let's start off with a couple of examples first. I wanna go ahead and create a sphere and let's just drop it right here and increase the size like that, and let's just move it up. And you'll notice if I go into the left view that this sphere itself is a 3 by 3, 8 by 4 spans. Now, if I picked this entity and I want to increase the spans in the vertical duration, in other words, the V duration. If I go to, let's say, 7 spans and accept, you'll notice that Alias puts those spans in a very equally distributed manner, and that's not exactly what I'm looking for. So, let's ctrl + z that and again as we did with curves we're gonna use the same command. We're gonna insert and I'm gonna pick an isopalm to run parallel to and I'm…
