The Information window
- In this video, we're going to take another look at the information window and how useful it can be in manipulating data and interrogating data. So, information window, we can activate it by control 5, or we can go up to windows, information window like so. So let's open up the information window, and I'm going to pick a piece of data from this model. Let's pick this piece of data here, and you can see at the very top we have the name. We can create a bounding box for this. So if we're doing a packaging study, I don't necessarily want to see all the complex data. I can just put a simple bounding box around there. I can make it visible or invisible, and it tells me what layer it's on and also the name of the layer. But you'll notice under transformation information I can't move this by typing in any explicit coordinates. They're all grayed out. Now the reason for this is that this particular piece of data is the child of these particular curves. So if I pick one of these curves here…
