- In this video we're gonna take a look at how to intersect surfaces and surfaces and planes to create a curve on surface. Now we've already touched on this when we were doing the 3D trim command, but I wanna look at it in this particular scenario. So let's go to surface edit, create a curve on surface using intersect. Let's take a look at some of the options here. Now we're gonna make sure that we've got creating a curve on surface on both surfaces and let's keep on history. Let's say go with that and we're gonna select this first surface here. You'll notice the bottom we have the option to accept this, I'm gonna space bar to accept and now I'm gonna pick this surface at the back and then also this sphere. So those green lines represent our curve on surface so if I go ahead and just switch off the grid and in this case let's select all this data and let's just switch off the U's and V's for a second and there's our intersected curves on surfaces.
