- I want you to finish this course by sharing with you some of my experiences with Sub-D modeling. Alias is a very capable application for CAD modeling. But with the introduction of Sub-Ds, this capability has been taken to another level. As you try and implement Sub-Ds into your workflow. Just remember this capability is developing at a rapid pace. Since this is a relatively new application, Autodesk are continuously developing and adding new capability to Sub-D modeling. As with all applications there are certain limitations. But these will be addressed in future releases of Alias. Whenever possible, try to replicate your daily deliverables using Sub-D modeling. Start with simple models. The more you practice, the more efficient you'll become. Remember, Sub-Ds are not meant to replace Class A surfaces. So don't become too focused on creating perfect models.
