- So we've created our sub div surface for the front of the inset on the seat. And finally, we just want to make sure that we've matched it across the center line. So in this case, I'm going to switch off meshes and let's go into this layer, which is the sub div surface layer. And we're going to put on symmetry. So you can just see from here that this is not balanced. You can see the attitude of this line and this line is creating a slight V shape. So this is obviously not matched across the center line. Another way we can take a look is if we go up to object display, diagnostic shading and let's go to the zebra stripes. And I'm going to go into my top view. And in this case, let's just make sure that we're working in orthographic. So am going to click this little icon and this just go to orthographic. And as I rotate, you can see that there is a slight bend in that curve and that's just not what we want to see right…
