- So let's use the retopology command to put a Sub div surface across this whole blue patch in the front here. So this mesh has been subdivided and I want to hide the red portion and we're going to focus just on this blue portion here. So the first thing I want to do is just change the transparency down like so. And let's go into our retopology command and let's get started. So select, I don't have any sub div's, so space bar again. And try to work in a view that makes sense. So only go into this view here. And I'm just going to put four control points down or vertex points down. And then spacebar and I'm just going to click one time in the middle. Now make sure that you're working in a perspective with ortho or just orthographic. So I want to switch to orthographic here. Spacebar, left mouse button. Click spacebar, left mouse button click. And I'm just going to go and just pull those control points back. So…
