Snapping entities with the Pivot option

- In this video, I'm gonna show you how to snap entities to each other and also to the grid. So, let's go ahead and pick an entity. I'm gonna pick Object, and just window over this cone, alt + l to zoom in. Now, you'll notice the code has a green dot that appears at the base and this is what's called a pivot point. Now, if you don't see a pivot point there what I'd like you to do is just go up to Show in the top right and just make sure that Pivot's checked on. Okay, now we have the entity selected and we can just go ahead and do a straightforward move which is a transform function. So, we can use the icon here or we can just right click and go to Move. So, again, with my left mouse button, no keyboard interaction, moves in the x. Middle is y, right is zed. Now, if I hold the alt key down I can snap to grid location like so. Now, what if I'm wanting to snap onto an edge of this cube for example. Well, then I'm gonna hold my control and alt down, left mouse button will allow me to snap…
