- Let's take a look at the surface revolve command. So surface revolve again, it's a surface creation so we'll go to the surface tab, and we can right click, go to surface revolve, or we can choose the icon like this. So let's do a reset, We're gonna reset all the default values here We're gonna rotate in the z vector, I'll close this down, you can see that the vector that we want to rotate in is in the blue vector, which is the z direction. So very simply let's go ahead and pick this curve. And straight away, Alias does a revolve for us, let's shade this up and let's see what result we have. The first thing to note here, is that the revolve is very much dependent on where the pivot point is for the revolve profile. So let's go back and pick the profile, and you'll notice that the pivot point is set global 000.
