Understanding uniform and parametric options for extrude
- [Instructor] Let's take a deep dive into the difference between parametric and uniform when we're using the extrude command. So under Pallet, let's open up Subdivisions double click on the Extrude command. And we're going to go to focus on this first curve here, which is parametric. So if I'm going to click that curve, let's stay on global. Let's make sure we're on parametric. And we're just going to slide this up. And what alias does, it distributes the vertices or the control points of the extruded element in a parametric fashion. So it's a pretty simple command and we have no options to change the bias at all. Let's do the same for uniform and I'm going to slide over a little bit. Let's drag this up, and we're going to change the mode to uniform. Now, as soon as I do that, you'll see that I have the option to change the curvature bias. Now what does that mean?
