Using the exercise files
- [Instructor] Before we get started, I wanted to take a moment to talk about the exercise files and how to use them. Once you have downloaded the exercise files to your desktop, you can leave them there and access the Alias wire files directly from this location, or you can place them in the default Alias installation path. So let's open up Exercise Files, and you'll notice that inside this folder, you will find chapter folders. And inside these folders, you will see subfolders representing the Alias hierarchy. All of our course files files are contained within the wire folder. So let's go back to Exercise Files, Ctrl + A and Ctrl + C to copy all those chapter folders. And let's close this. Let's open up Alias. And you'll notice with this splash screen, we have five distinct workflows. We have Default, SubD, Class A, Paint and VR. Let's start with SubD.
