- [Voiceover] Hello, I'm Veejay Gahir, and welcome to Alias Essential Training. Alias is, without question, one of the premier CAD applications for concept modeling and class a surfacing used today. It's used in virtually every major design studio throughout the world, and in every market segment from automotive, to aerospace, to consumer products. The goal of this course is help you understand the Alias Design product, and how it can be used effectively in a design environment. We'll be discussing important topics like design deliverables and data continuity. We'll be using various techniques to create, modify and analyze this data. Finally we'll export the model into various formats, so that it can be used downstream in other CAD applications, and used by various groups like rapid prototyping and engineering. Alias Design has many unique features that enable experienced professionals and newcomers to create high quality, feasible CAD models. We'll be covering all these topics, plus many of the tools and techniques. So, let's get started with Alias Essential Training.
