Creating a defocused exposure

- The soft filter option is going to take a composited image and a blurred image to create a dreamy look. We'll start by focusing on our subject. (camera shutter) Now we'll take a second image, and defocus manually. Let's get something nice and creamy. There we go. And let's just adjust the exposure compensation there. We'll take it down a little. And you see that that adjusts the intensity of the glow. And I can manually adjust the blur there, to create a new effect. I could turn the focus ring on the camera to manually adjust the blur. (camera shutter) And fire the second shot. And they're composited together into a dreamy image. With the multiple exposure app, there's a wide-range of things you can do. Feel free to play with silhouettes, textures, or even negative space. Plus the ability to combine and in focus and an out of focus image, will unlock even new options. This app is a lot of fun. And it lets you play with blending modes, and multiple layers right inside your camera…
