- Being an affiliate gives you the ability to earn a passive stream of income. But although your income is passive, you need an active strategy in order for you to be successful as an affiliate. Firstly, you want to find your niche. Now, the main word in here is your niche. What kind of things are you good at? What are you passionate about? And what are you experienced in? You want to focus on these areas. There's no point being in a niche just because it's profitable, but look at your experience, look at your passions, and look at what you're good at and what's going to drive you. This will help you to create an income doing something that you actually care about. You then want to find your target audience.
