Amazon EFS

- [Instructor] Amazon Web Services provides various types of storage services for different use cases. One such service is Amazon Elastic File System or EFS. Amazon EFS provides a simple elastic file system for Linux workloads hosted in AWS or your on-premises environment. It is a managed storage service so AWS manages the storage infrastructure for you freeing you from the task of managing and maintaining complex file system configurations. It supports the Network File System version 4 protocol, a commonly used protocol with file systems. This means your existing applications can work with EFS. Compute services, such as Amazon EC2, Amazon ECS or Elastic Container Service, Amazon EKS or Elastic Kubernetes Service, AWS Fargate, and AWS Lambda can simultaneously access EFS.
