- [Instructor] Organizations using cloud computing need to consider the potential negative impact should those services fail or become compromised. So we're talking about cloud disaster recovery planning. This involves conducting a business impact analysis and also crafting disaster recovery policies. It begins with the risk assessment where the first thing that needs to happen is the identification of assets must occur. Now, an asset could be an IT system that it supports a business process. Of course, it can also be the resultant data such as customer shopping habits for an e-commerce website. We then have to identify the threats to those assets.
