Configuring IAM to support application security
- [Instructor] Identity and access management otherwise called IM, It's all about the creation and management of users and groups and related permissions to secure resource access in the cloud. So what I'm going to do here in the AWS management console I'm going to search for IM and I'll click on the search result to open up the IM console. Where I'll begin by clicking users over on the left, that'll click the add user button. I want to create a user, user ones, so I'll specify U one as the first and last name type of component to comprise the login name. Down below I can determine if this account has programmatic access to AWS resources or management console access to sign into the gooey like I've done here and perhaps have limited access to create or modify AWS items.
