Configuring VPC peering

- [Instructor] Okay, I'm going to enable VPC peering between two different VPCs in different regions. To get started here in the AWS management console in the upper right, it shows that I'm currently administering cloud resources in the US West Oregon region. So I'm going to go ahead and search for VPC to open up the VPC management console where I will then click on your VPCs in the left. I've got a VPC I've already created called VPC two dash West and it's using these sixteen.one.zero.zero/sixteen range. Now, the next thing I'm going to do is I'm going to duplicate this web browser window but I'm going to switch over to US East, North Virginia. I want to see the VPCs in that region where I've got one called VPC, one dash East and it's not fifteen.one.zero.zero/sixteen. So each of these VPCs has subnets and I want to make sure that services like virtual machines in those subnets can talk to each other via their private IP…
