- Now for QLDB, Amazon has provided a short tutorial. So we'll click start tutorial in the QLDB console and it will tell us that we first want to create a ledger and we are going to create this ledger called vehicle registration, and click create ledger. Now while this ledger is creating, I just tell you what the next steps are, because it does take a minute or two. Your ledger is your database here, then we're going to work with a sample application data and we are going to load sample data which will run statements to create tables, indexes, and insert documents and they give you the option of if you want to do this manually, then they show you the documentation so that you can use the, in this case, party QL, as described, in the QLDB so it's their query language and then you will modify and query the data and here is the query reference.
