Hybrid clouds

- [Instructor] Yet another cloud computing delivery model comes in the form of a hybrid cloud. A hybrid cloud is the combination of a private and public cloud. A private cloud means that a single organization owns and uses the infrastructure for cloud services on premises, and so, all cloud computing characteristics are adhered to. The same thing would be true in the public cloud where we have all cloud computing characteristics being adhered to, but the difference is that a public cloud provider owns and manages the underlying infrastructure in the public cloud. So a hybrid cloud lets us get the best of both worlds. Now why would we do this? We can do this to link an on premises network to the cloud via a site to site VPN. This way, resources on premises and in the public cloud could communicate with each other over the network.
