Share your app with the world

- [Jon-Luke] So you've built your Android app, and now you're finally ready to share it with the world. But where and how do we do this? There are many distribution channels available for sharing your application, such as the Google Play Store and the Amazon Appstore. But before we can distribute an app, there are a few steps to go through to prepare. Hi. My name is Jon-Luke West. I've been working as a solutions innovator, helping companies enhance their solutions with mobile technology ever since Android KitKat made its debut back in 2013. In this course, I will be showing you how to distribute your app, starting with getting your app ready by cleaning up and optimizing code and then generating a signed application file. From here, we will create multiple flavors of it to demonstrate how to include different features and then finally publish it. After publishing the app, we will discuss the many reports available that can help monitor how the app is doing from user feedback to installation statistics and crash reports. I'm really excited to show you through this process, and I hope it helps you get started sharing your awesome apps with the Android users of the world.
