Alien biped
- [Narrator] Here's an example of an alien creature with an anatomy that's really not like anything you're going to find on Earth that I know of anyway. It obviously has things that are feet and things that are knees. And maybe we can think of that as a knee or that as a heel, ya know, maybe more like a bird. But nevertheless this is something that I don't think you're going to find any kind of easy reference for. And these arms certainly are very almost hard to wrap your head around. So when you are given a scene like this to animate, you're really in the business of inventing the animation rather than going to a book or a textbook. You could be given a leg that's got an extra joint, or the one that I've given you here. So you're always in the business of trying to figure out just how would that work? Or does it even make sense?
