- Arc and spacing errors are capable of destroying a walk cycle. So let me show you how to tackle that problem and make sure that your arcs look good, as the examples in this animation. So if you're working in a 3D program, or Flash or Harmony, you may have controls that will display the various arc paths of the body parts. If you don't, then you must find a way to set them manually, and that's what I'm going to show you here. I'm going to use the 24 frame per second frame numbers for this arc plot. But don't worry, you'll get the idea. If you're following along on 30 frames per second, just adjust your numbers accordingly. When we did these kind of scenes in the good old days on paper, we put a blank sheet. And put that over the animation and plot the arcs on that sheet. And different body parts could be plotted. You have one for the elbow, one for the chest, one for the knee. So in this case, I'm going to plot the arc pattern just for the wrist joint. So there's our first plot. And…
