- [Voiceover] I'm going to quickly run through some dos and don'ts, things to watch out for. The first one is safe area, and there are different safe areas for different formats so I'm not gonna run through all of them. There's just too many now, and different projects could have different sensitivities, so I would never, for example, put text or subtitles or anything below this line, this rough area here. In general, higher's better, so some projects have an absolute no go and others are a little fuzzy around here, so keep this in mind. Whatever your project is, find out the safe area and don't put anything critical in there. The next thing to watch out for is tangents and that's where objects, for example, the top of the head, you see how it's grazing the perimeter of the upper edge of the screen, that's really ugly. We want to avoid these at all costs and it's really simple, either you move in a little tighter so that the top of the screen is more along here, or you move out, so in…
