Facial gestures
- So, very often, we don't wanna use our hands to gesture. So, we gesture with our face. Facial gestures are really important to understand. Understanding what we do, in order to communicate a thought, using just our brows, or mouth, or nose. Let's take a look at some of these clips of our actors doing a bunch of different facial gestures and talk about what's going on. I love this type of stuff because the grinning of a teeth, you know, you really see what's going on with the mouth here and how it pushes up. It's very clear without any dialogue. All right. And then, also, when he was relaxed, notice how, he goes from that to that expression. Now, if I were designing a pose, I would wanna be pushing things a little bit. You know, I would want to be pushing the brows so that they were just a little bit higher here. And, maybe, I might wanna, kinda angle up the mouth a little bit because I'm creating kind of like a pathway for the viewer to look, right. I want it to be open, right. So…
