Frankenstein

- [Instructor] Before we start, a quick reminder that Frankenstein is not the monster. Frankenstein is the scientist who makes the monster. A lot of people get confused by that. So, the classic monster, played by Boris Karloff, is a copyright design so that's why I made my own, so we could work with something safer. So let's get started. So these are my thumbnails, and what I wanted to do was to capture the monster's kind of newborn quality. He's not in full control of his body, and oftentimes he's a little clumsy, off-balanced. So you can see this in the original Karloff performance, as well as Peter Boyle in Young Frankenstein. Please note that you don't have to animate the monster like this, but this is a good approach. It's one interpretation. So let's take a look at this as a posttest. So I took my thumbnails and just timed them out as my original estimated timing and this is the result. It's got a very nice feel to it. He certainly seems to be not quite on his full control yet…
