Male and female walks

- The most obvious difference in a male and a female walk is the hinging of the limbs, and here we can see a stereotypical male and female pose, and both are exaggerated for effect, but notice how the male joints face outwards while the female joints face inwards. And you can see on the elbows in particular and the knees of the man, they're pointing out from the body; and the female are pointing in. And this is an exaggerated ideal. Don't feel like you have to copy this exactly every single time. Don't feel that a man's joints have to face out. Sometimes they can face in, but this is to convey the basic concept. So let's see how this applies to animation. Here we see the walks animated. The male walk retains his outward pivot throughout the cycle, and the female retains her inner one. So I'm gonna stop this, and we'll just go through this frame by frame.
