Mummy
- [Voiceover] Now let's take a look at a character that has some similar characteristics to a Frankenstein monster, and that's the mummy. Of course, Boris Karloff played both the monster and the mummy in the classic horror movie era. So there are similar aspects that you can use for one with the other. So here's the plan for the scene, these are all the key poses, laid out with the timing beneath them, and some timing charts too. This gives you a rough idea about the spacing of the in-between frames, so you can see seven, for example, is halfway between one and 13, and so forth. Here is the final animation we're going to try to create, and it looks pretty creepy. So let's shuttle through the rough key poses. First we have our start frame, and then the anticipation. Now notice that the limbs don't break, they're still stiff you see, so I'm imagining the limbs as being in the sarcophagus for a very long time.
