- [Voiceover] So now very quick word on posing the characters and staging the scene. And this means about how you position the figures in relationship to the camera. And, on the top row, we have three shots and on the bottom row, the same three shots just staged slightly differently. One of the things I've been noticing that's been creeping in and I think it's just a bad habit, based on Flash puppets and Harmony puppets and CGI puppets is that when people set up they shots, they pull in the rig or the puppet onto the stage and they go one, two, three. And I've seen some pretty expensive shows animated straight out of these zero poses on a new shot and it's absolutely an atrocious way to work and a very bad habit to get into. So, let's take a look at what these shots look like full screen. So, here's our first pass through. And you might think, at first glance, well, what's wrong with that? Well, they're all vertical.
