Spline work on gestures
- All right, here is a scene that we assigned our students about 10 years ago. The assignment was to take a piece of a film, and not have any of the students look at the actual movie, and say, all right, we want you guys to come up with all the gestures and acting. So one of the best scenes that came out of this was by a student named Guilherme Jacinto, who's now a directing animator at Pixar and one of our great animators there. He was nice enough to let me look at this scene, and see what he did under the hood. It's from the film The Imposters. We were able to get some of our actors here, and voice talent, to re-record the lines so that you could hear it. So let's take a look at it.
