- One of the concepts that was used in the Disney Animation Studio back in the good ol' days was the idea of plus-ing a scene. That was taking a scene that already worked, already looks great, and can you push it any further, can you just give it a little bit of extra vim? So, here's an example of a gesture drawing where we've done just that. I think we did mention this kind of process earlier in the course, but now I'm just going to show a more cohesive way of dealing with it in a little more detail. Here, we've taken a pose and really pushed it. I mean, look at even in the stick figure format, look at the big eyes popping out. It's the same emotion, but it's dialed up. It may not always be appropriate, but if it is, then you really want to do this. So, let's see how this is a applied to a more polished character.
