- [Voiceover] Previously I showed you a three-act project called Bumstead Vs. The Martians. I created it for this course, just to show you where the storyboards would integrate with the story, obviously it's a story, but the wider frame of the picture. So, basically, Bumstead starts out a little bit like Ned Flanders in the Simpsons and he ends up like Bruce Willis in Die Hard. That's his character arc. That's how he changes throughout the course of the show. So, what I'm gonna do is to show you a sequence from Act 1 which will setup his normal life before it's completely upended. So we're gonna basically explain how this happens, how he goes from little everyday person, and Act 1 will end basically here, before he's about to embark on the Act 2 Conflict. So, we start, as we should, with an establishing shot of everyday, it's just another old day at the office.
