Installing Ansible
- [Instructor] It probably won't surprise you to learn that installing Ansible is very, very simple. What you'll want to do is consult the Ansible documentation. Notice when you go to the documentation, there's an installation guide and you'll want to follow the installation guidance for the operating system where you're doing the installation. Let me demonstrate the installation of Ansible. And I am doing this on a Mac. Now you might think the Mac, isn't a great place to run Ansible from, but it works just fine. And while this might not be a frequent platform that you use in production, it can be very, very powerful to run Ansible from the Mac when you're just experimenting and learning Ansible. Notice that the Mac does not have a package management system to run from the terminal so you can install Homebrew.
