- [Instructor] You do have a video light, and it's actually a pretty decent one, you control it in the upper left-hand corner. I'm just going to tap on it to turn it off. So in this case, you want to go with existing light only. But when you're recording people, I tell you, and especially if you have nice ambient lighting, but maybe people are a little bit in the shadow, you know, you're interviewing someone, and someone's doing something cool. If you can get within a few feet of them, you know, five or six feet, and you want good lighting on them, then I would turn on the video light, because video loves light! Really, seriously! I mean I learned this a long time ago, way before the iPhone, video loves light. And a little bit of fill light from the video light for your interviews, or when someone's doing something cute, like at a wedding reception, really does improve the video.
