- When you delete something in photos it doesn't really go away. At least not at first. It goes to this place called recently deleted. Yes, limbo, right? Limbo for your images and movies. And I have two items in here. Now let's go back to my library up here. So I have this movie here and I was playing around with it trying to do stuff, trying to, you know, take pieces out. And well, honestly it just didn't work. And I go, all right I just want those out of my library because guess what? Movies take up a lot of space. So I got rid of them. So I erased them and they ended up there in recently deleted. And then how do you delete them in the first place? I'm just going to hold down the control key and click here. And you can see you got a little delete thing right there. So that's hold down the control key and click on the image get that pop-up menu and you can delete it that way.
