- [Instructor] All right, so we discussed the contour and now let's talk about the beam tool. I am going to change this column. I'm just going to delete that one and that's why we just previously placed. I'm just going to drag this one and push alt and it'll drag a copy of it. Just so we have consistency with the other columns that we replaced. So now we're going to place a column. And so again, you have the option to click on that little flyout button and you have some predefined beams. And if we double click into this tool, we can see that it has a similar dialogue box that the column tool has. And so again we have the ability to adjust the height of it, we have the ability to adjust the width of it and then the position, so the height above ground, what storey it's going to be on and we also have the ability to adjust the edges, the reference position and we can adjust the surfaces.
