- [Instructor] Now, let's talk a little bit more about external content. So if we go back up to file and we go to external content we have a few different options. So we can place a hot link and then we can also place an external drawing as well as an Xref. So what we're going to do is we're going to place an Xref of a survey. So let's create a new worksheet so go over to your navigator and then just right click on the worksheet and then say new independent worksheet. And so we'll call this S-01 and we'll just call it survey. And so let's go to file, external content, attach Xref. And so we'll browse for the Xref. And so let's go to Xref for the survey. So I have a survey here. And so when you're placing an Xref it can either be a DWG or a DXF. And so let's place that. And so you have a couple different options here.
