- [Instructor] One thing I would like to talk about is zones. And we'll talk more about this later in the course, but I want to just show you this tool. So we have, in our toolbox, we have this zone tool. So if I go and select the zone tool, I'm just going to make a zone that we can work with. And so here is a zone. So this is potentially a room or a site area. And one thing with the zones is if you go to options and project preferences and over to the zone area, zones can be calculated in different ways. And you can... And it's a good idea to understand how zones calculate the information that you see. So we have an area here, and if you were to subtract or want to subtract the area of a column or a certain type of wall, then you can make those adjustments here.
