- As a young student I remember more than one reprimand from teachers that caught me doodling during their lecture. If my inkling's right, I'll bet the same probably happened to you or other artists in the making. The misconception was likely that we were daydreaming. But we both know that a designer's thought process allows us to deliver images as well, where others just print out words. Those images were our notes, but much richer notes because we processed what we had heard and not just put down a record of their words. What I share here is just one way of capitalizing on that picture-word corollary. It allows us to build a reference of subjective imagery but connects it to the objective words so we can share our thoughts in a context that our less visual client is much more likely to understand.
