Using the Wacom property pane
- Not only can you customize your Wacom tablet experience, you can customize it on a per-application basis. The settings you use in Photoshop, for example, will be different than those in Painter or a 3D app. Let's go though the process of adding a couple keyboard shortcuts to Photoshop. So I'm going to, once again, go to my Wacom Desktop Center, and there isn't a specific place for Application Settings, so I'm just going to click on Pen Settings, just to get the property pane up. Now that we're here, we want to pay attention to the top part of the property pane. And you have three rows: you have Devices, Tool, and Applications. Device is going to be what's hooked up right now that the Desktop Center is recognizing, and right now, it recognizes the Intuos Pro, and it also recognizes the ExpressKeys Remote. Some other person could even have, like, say, a Cintiq attached to it, so you can have multiple devices set up up here. So what you want to do is make sure that you are selecting…
