- Just like cars come in all shapes and sizes the same can be said of pen tablets. Factors like size, features, and cost come into play. As they say, "One man's ceiling is another man's floor." An artist coming from a traditional art background is likely to place a premium on something like size, bigger is better. Another individual may favor portability. In this case, smaller is better. What kind of working environment do you require? This alone may dictate the necessary size of the pen tablet you can utilize. What is your budget? Once again, this alone may be the deciding factor for which tablet you'd purchase. For the hobbyist or first time tablet buyer the Intuos line of tablets fills the bill. These tablets come in several targeted versions, Draw, Art, Photo, 3D, and Comic. With the exception of the Intuos Draw these tablets provide multi-touch capability.
