The picture plane and other materials

So, a picture pane is one of the, one things in the materials list that you'll probably think, oh, I don't really need that, I'll come to that later, but it can be so important in the drawing and really give you a confidence in actually composing a composition and just getting simple lines down. Because we can draw on it and wipe off drawings, it can really get you working quickly with your drawings and take away some of that fear of the white paper in getting started. So, here we have a sheet of perspex and a black frame with a hole cut out of it in the center. We've also got two pens that we'll be working with on the perspex. We've got a permanent marker and the wipe-off marker. Now I always get the two confused because it's so similar,so I always mark the bottom of my permanent marker just so I don't draw on the prospects with that. So what you can do with the wipe-off marker and this is why it's going to be so handy when we're looking at our drawings, is you can write on top of it…
