- If you own either an older model Intuos or Cintiq tablet, you already have the Grip Pen, as it's the standard included stylus. For many users, the Grip Pen is capable of satisfying your expressive needs. Let's take a close up look at it. Being the standard pen, it gives you 2,048 levels of pressure, and I want to show you in Photoshop exactly how this guy works, so let's get our UI up, and, I'm going to go to the brush panel, and if you didn't know about this, right here at the bottom of the brush panel there's a little eye and brush. If you click on that it brings up a little view of your brush in 3D so that when I tilt it and move it you can see exactly how it's moving in my hand. As well, you can see that the cursor itself is changing because it is tilt and bearing aware. So as I tilt this and rotate it, you can see how I'm able to change what the brush is going to be doing here. So let's go ahead and try it out a little bit.
