- Managing the number of takes a singer requires to get the best performance is an important aspect of vocal recording. And there's a specific psychology to navigate as the producer or engineer. Every singer is different in terms of how they'll want to approach recording vocal takes. Let's discuss with Jade the way she approaches takes to give you an idea of some things to keep in mind when you're recording. - For me, in my heart of hearts, there's probably no such thing as too many takes, I will go on forever, just because I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to recording.
