- This course is the beginning half of a two course series on vocal production. Here in Vocal Production Techniques, we focus on preparation, pre-production, and recording as we work through a session with vocalist Jade Hendrix here in the studio. The companion course to this one, Vocal Production Techniques: Editing and Mixing, takes you through the rest of the process in the digital audio workstation of your choice. Both courses are ideal for any producer, engineer, or vocalist with a basic understanding of working in a digital audio workstation. My goal in this course is to empower those who want to improve their vocal production skills and provide behind-the-scenes access to a professional vocal recording session.
