- So, we've gone through the sounds of Ross. But now we got Josh in the chair. And everybody hits a little differently. Louder, softer you know. More consistent, less consistent and so on. So, we'll dial the sounds in with Josh. Make sure everything is finessed. Make sure the levels going to Pro Tools aren't clipping and distorted and whatnot. Make sure he's comfortable out there. His headphone mix is good. And then we'll get the song going. And we'll do a couple passes of the song. And make sure we got a good track to play with, for mixing. What do you say? - I think I'm just gonna kinda play the patterns of the song so you can hear kinda what it's gonna sound like. - I would love that. - Cool. (drum playing) - Once we've got our drummer sat down at the kit we can't waste his time, energy and patience doing the things we could've done earlier in the day without him.
