Show up on time and ready to work

Show up on time and ready to work

- Do yourself a favor. When you schedule a co-writing session, show up on time and be ready to work. We're all artists, I get that, artists are supposed to be flaky, creative types, but here's the thing. You're now writing songs and hoping to generate some income, hoping to have some actual financial success so all of a sudden this is a business now and I highly recommend that you treat it that way. You know, you wouldn't show up late for work or cancel because you just didn't feel like going in that day, so why would you do that with your co-writing sessions? But it goes even further than that. Along with obviously just being responsible, it shows respect for the process of co-writing and for your collaborator, and that goes a long way towards setting the tone for a really productive co-write.
